For your weekend amusement, every other Saturday we will share a collection of images centered around the members' styling (such as hair, fashion, accessories, etc.) or stylistic choices (like selfie angles or weird filters). Perhaps we will have deep, meaningful thoughts about them. Perhaps we won't.
Today we are discussing a topic that is near and dear to my heart: Yunho and his magnificent sweaters. I love a cozy sweater. I, here in the deep south in the summer, am wearing a cozy sweater. A cozy sweater that I made to attend my first ATEEZ concert, in fact. (If you were at the Atlanta Beginning of the End concert and you saw a person in the biggest, dumbest, most colorful striped cardigan when everyone else was dressed like Halateez, that was me.)
In order to appropriately express my love for these sweaters, I have developed a tier list into which I will rank each sweater for my own joy and amusement. The tiers, from lowest to highest, are as follows:
Tier 4: I would wear the sweater.
Tier 3: Perhaps I could make the sweater?
Tier 2: Where can I get the sweater, take all my money.
Tier 1: Lock your doors, Yunho, I'm coming for the sweater.
We instantly begin our list with the most contentious entry. We here at auntiny are suckers for merch. We love a branded article of clothing. So we were seated and paying attention when this mysterious Pott drop happened. "What could it be?" we wondered. "A collaboration with Pottery Barn? Will we get the ATEEZ home goods of our dreams?" Turns out it was just Wonderwall reskinned, but we quickly got over that disappointment when we saw this glorious sweater. It was all I wanted. The fact that I already own a black and white striped cardi is absolutely irrelevant. I wanted THIS sweater.
However, in spite of prominently displaying the sweater alongside other merch that was actually available to buy, Pott/Wonderwall never intended the sweater to be part of the collection and would withhold it from us forever.

Tier 2: Where can I get the sweater, take all my money.
This is a very simple and straightforward sweater. It appears to be some type of mohair. It looks quite cozy. My one drawback is that I'm not a huge fan of a crewneck, but Yunho is obviously pulling it off with ease, probably because he's a giant.

Tier 4: I would wear the sweater.
As I've worked on compiling this list, I realize that Yunho opts for a lot of neutral colored sweaters in his day-to-day wear. This one is a summer sweater, clearly made for good ventilation. It looks easy-breezy and comfy. I do think that personally, I'd prefer it in a color color. My complexion doesn't work well with creams and taupes and whatnot.

There is a lot going on with this cardi. In the It's Live The Real performance video, you can see--when the drone camera isn't absolutely losing its shit--that the sweater has kind of a color blocking situation going on in the back. I do believe that the red and light blue/white blocks are completely different fabrics as well which is interesting. It makes me want to play around with mix and matching fabrics with my own clothes.

Tier 3: Perhaps I could make the sweater?
I do think this sweater gets bonus points because we can see Yunho developing his birthday merch, a puppy pillow which I have very recently received after much deliberation and now this puppy is my child and I love him. The sweater is pretty good too.

Tier 4: I would wear the sweater.
You ever just look at a simple and normal picture of Yunho and just think "this man can't be real because he's impossible"? Like--what am I even supposed to say?
This sweater has some really lovely subtle details that I enjoy. The cabling on the front and the long ribbed cuffs. The cuffs are particularly interesting because it looks like there are two different types of ribbing--a wider one on top and then narrower on the bottom. I also like a v-neck. The v-neck is good.

The styling for this Inception stage is just flawless, but we're here for sweaters. I love the red and black, it's very angry teenager in the 90s. I like the wide neck and love the addition of the patch that I wish they would sell. The distressed details are also fun, but tricky to achieve methinks. Still, though, I think I could make something that replicates the idea of this sweater and I think I shall.

Tier 3: Perhaps I could make the sweater?
Look at it. Just look at it. It's so big. It's so round. It has a hood. It has giant black buttons. It's so good. I have actually already been inspired to make a giant grey hoodie sweater with big black buttons. I am about halfway done with it. It is turning out to not be as giant as I desire, but maybe that's also okay.

Tier 3: Perhaps I could make the sweater?
Maybe I just have a thing for hoodies? I don't know--but I absolutely adore this sweater, this whole look from Wave. (I wrote about it here.) And I don't know if I can explain why? It just looks so comfortable and like it goes with so many things. And I just want it, okay?

I've been on a little bit of a PC-buying bender recently, and amongst my many purchases is this Yunho in this little beret and Very Great checkerboard sweater. Look how soft and cozy it looks. Maybe I'm just tired and can't think of anything else to say but this sweater makes me want to cry. I just need it in my life.

And here we are. We've arrived. The absolute pinnacle of sweaterdom. This is the sweater that spawned not only this list, but the entire idea of Style Symposium. Once upon a time, I watched ATEEZ's Immortal Songs cover of Psy's Right Now and I fell in love with an article of clothing. And I started writing sweater sonnets in my head and heart. And I pondered writing a post about all the best Yunho sweaters just so I could talk about this one. And the rest is history.
It's so colorful. It's so stripey. It looks cozy and unique. It's so granddad but also not granddad. It's your favorite school librarian but also the hottest boy in the kdrama. It is everything. And I will have it. No matter what it takes.

And that's that. Here's to Yunho and all his sweaters. Here's to sweater weather and the sweaters that defy weather. And here's to you, who just read a whole post about sweaters.
