It's Wednesday, and that means that we're here to personally recommend some of our favorite ATEEZ videos. So, whether you're just getting into ATEEZ or it's been awhile since you've let yourself sit back and enjoy their content, we've got you covered.
I am a Maker of Things.
I sew, I make journals (mostly out of album surplus), I build tiny little house kits, I've recently started trying to conquer sticker making, and I crochet. Yesterday, I celebrated Columbus/Indigenous Peoples' Day by finally finishing a bouquet of 8 (had to be 8) sunflowers that I started back in June or July.
I think they look a little silly (and could maybe use a contrast flower and some danglies?) but I am The Maker and must therefore critique my creations forever until I die.
But I was inspired for today's WTW to share some videos of ATEEZ making things, which may very possibly be my favorite genre of ATEEZ content.
Pottery is, I think, the one type of art or craft that I would never be interested in learning, but I will watch ATEEZ lose their minds over a master potter making a simple bowl. I am sorry, sir, for the atrocities some of these boys are about to commit with your celadon (San, sweetie, I'm looking at you).
In yet another example of Jongho Somehow Being Perfect at Everything, the boys learn the art of watermelon carving. Turns out our maknae can do more than just smash melons with a single finger.
Watch this video and then try to tell me there's anything more endearing than seeing Yunho and Wooyoung giggle over PPT animations. I'll wait.
So, we start this episode with a little singing/breathing game. And can I just say--most of the singers I've known in my life, and I've known a fair few, can easily sustain a note for 30 seconds or more. This is not to downplay Mingi's, Yeo's, and Jongho's abilities (and Yunho's if they hadn't ruined his strategy), but to say that for these producers to think this would be an actual challenge for idols who are professional singers. . . well, says something about the industry methinks.
Anyways, they also make bracelets and it's just so precious.
Please witness as Yeo creates a horrific towel monster.
Yes, I know it's a cover, but at the end, we get to watch him work some tie-dye magic for his diy mv. Just thinking about the glow up from this to Lemon Tree has me very excited for the next By.Hongjoong that I really hope we get.
Yes, I know cooking isn't really crafting, but this is really one of my favorite ATEEZ videos of all time. And Making is Making. So I'm counting it. Also you can't stop me.
The food looks delicious and the banter is delightful. I'm sad that Woo plans to move on from Muk Wooyoung, but I'm happy he's left us with this absolute gem of cooking content.
You know we had to have some Hwa Lego time. I picked this one because he is making flowers. And flowers is what I'm into right now. (You can also find a fan-subbed version here.)
I hope you also feel inspired to create, whatever your preferred brand of creation is. For your convenience, you can find the entire playlist here.
Ohhhh ATEEZ arts and crafts content is some of my favorite content as well. I am really into when they gift us pictures of their drawings too. 🥹
That’s why the birthday merch this year with the keychains and box designed by them is just the best thing that ever happened to me.
