It's Wednesday, and that means that we're here to personally recommend some of our favorite ATEEZ videos. So, whether you're just getting into ATEEZ or it's been awhile since you've let yourself sit back and enjoy their content, we've got you covered.
I spent the last several days watching ATEEZ fancams in preparation for our 1 Stage to Rule Them All post, and so I started to wonder what the best fancams for each member actually are.
And this is the list I have come up with. It is obviously not objective, nor is it final. Unfortunately for my task here today (but fortunately for me as a fan), every single ATEEZ performance is incredible. So really, you should just watch all of the fancams.
But here are 8 of my faves to get you started.
I am aware that every one picks this fancam, and that it's cliche to pick this fancam, but this fancam also holds a special place in my heart. I remember very clearly one night while I was watching Kingdom (the terrible MNET show), I told my husband, "did you know that fancams of solo members are a thing? Isn't that weird?" And he was like, "yeah, that's weird." But then one day several weeks later, I watched this fancam, and I was like "Oh."
And now here we are.
I think that 'Deja Vu' Seonghwa was an actual triumph. His styling throughout the whole era is just perfectly suited for my tastes, and I just love his hair. But really, any song with longing in it, Seonghwa is going to knock out of the park with his facial expressions, and this is no exception.
I feel like there's some who would suggest that Yunho does best on bright songs, and I feel like those people just haven't spent enough time watching 'Guerrilla' fancams, so it's really good that I'm here to set the record straight. Yunho's intensity in basically every 'Guerrilla' performance will burn through your soul.
For me, Yeosang has several recent eras where he shines on stage, so it was hard to narrow down the playing field enough to pick just one. But on this particular day, in this particular outfit, Yeosang just... well.. he just. Is perfect. There's something about watching him perform the 'Bouncy' choreo that is just so satisfying, and we all agree that this styling is like actually unbelievable, right?
Pick any San fancam, and it belongs on this list. He gives his all to every performance, and so it's really hard to pick the best of the best. So instead, I've picked this one from 'Inception', which has a sentimental value to me personally. Watching his 'Inception' fancams was just one of those experiences where it was like.. oh.. these guys are different, and I still think his 'Inception' fancams are amongst the top fancams I've ever seen.
One, why is it that Inkigayo always has the best stylings? Everything about this stage is so beautiful. But also Mingi's commitment to his performance here is just.. so fun. Halazia is one of my all time, top-tier songs, and I love all of his little touches that he adds to this performance. Also, I can't believe those glasses stayed on his face.
I also picked a Halazia stage for Wooyoung for a couple of reasons. One, I just love all of Wooyoung's parts in Halazia. I think they made his voice shine in a really special way. Two, he has some of most insane choreo I've ever seen, and he just nails it. This outfit is excellent, and his dance break with San and Jongho is incredible. I'm glad we're almost to the last boy because I'm running out ways to say incredible, perfect, fantastic, loves of my life.
This is another stage that was mostly chosen for sentimental reasons. The first time I really noticed Jongho and he started to creep up my bias line was during his Eternal Sunshine stages. I loved his performances during the playful stages, but also, I was so impressed everytime he did his high note while also doing this little hop, jump turn. Like I would watch those parts over and over again, and I still find myself coming back to Eternal Sunshine to listen to Jongho's parts.
