It's Wednesday, and that means that we're here to personally recommend some of our favorite ATEEZ videos. So, whether you're just getting into ATEEZ or it's been awhile since you've let yourself sit back and enjoy their content, we've got you covered.
I have decided that this week requires Mingi's energy if I'm to survive it. Deep thoughts and self care are required for me, and so in an effort to channel my inner Song Mingi, I decided to create a playlist where he shines.
Please sit back and allow Mingi to inspire and delight you in the way that only he can.
It's so rare that we get any of the behind process from them creating music or working on making new music, so I really treasure any of the looks we get of that process. Seeing Mingi create music with others and talk about the process is fascinating, and he seems so excited about the work to be done, which I found really inspirational.
The first self-produced full song we've received from Mingi, and it's beautiful. Listening to it reminds me of the fact that Mingi originally wanted to be a singer, and there is something so stirring about his vocals here. The lyrics speak directly to that fear of not achieving your dreams and dealing with a world that doesn't always care.
Something a little more uplifting: the return of Minkiway, which also has a song from Mingi in the intro. This was shortly after Mingi's return from hiatus, so all of the videos from this era feel especially special, but I also felt like Minkiway got a whole glow up on this return.
Rapline energy is always so fun together even though it is somewhat rare, and Mingi and Hongjoong play off of each other so well in this interview. The laundry format is... weird. But it's a very fun video.
This was a very funny video in general, and the conversation about Mingi's lyric writing is just perfect.
You just never know what a logbook will bring, but this one has so much playing and singing and dancing. Watching them have fun back stage at some of their Japanese schedules is such a fun experience, and Mingi and Wooyoung have some great chemistry during Mingi's special singing segment.
Mingi is a performance machine, and he can't be stopped. It doesn't matter if the performance is just for the managers and staff. Give Mingi a stage and he will perform. One of the things that is so eternally endearing about Mingi is the way he so openly loves and is moved by music, and you can really see that shine here.
Listen, this strength test doesn't go great for Mingi, but his attitude and effort is part of the charm.
This stage is so fun. Both Hongjoong and Mingi just get into the spirit of this pretty wild stage, enjoying the opportunity to be a little more silly with their performance.
This is the episode where we learn that Mingi can really cook! Getting a chance to watch his competence in the kitchen shine, especially with his partner Hongjoong, really makes it seem like we get to see a new side of Song Mingi.
I personally feel like Mingi's scenes are a real standout, plus his name is in the song, so I've included Bouncy, and I feel like he would approve.
Here's to Mingi for being just great, and I hope he brings you as much strength as I know he will bring me this week. You can find the full playlist here.
Mingi has brought me such strength and such indescribable joy. I love and appreciate him so much. Thank you for sharing these clips! It was great to revisit them. Here’s hoping Mingi can help others get through the week! Hwaiting!
